Buddies In Bad Times Theatre

Our most ambitious project to date, and a personal favourite.  Buddies brought the installation we created with Moynan King for 2005’s Hysteria festival back for the closing spot in it’s 2007/08 season, and we transformed the big black box into a splendid 60’s-era salon.  Audience members descended a grand staircase to receive “beauty treatments” by cast members – between song-and-dance numbers. The detailed stations were augmented with a working fountain, receptionist, lounges, and a faux product line.
