Sheroes #11, Dusty Springfield at The Beaver

Inspired by a wig salon, this mirrored piece invites the viewer to try out the legendary singer’s signature look.

Sheroes was a 13-part art party series curated by Rea McNamara.  Monthly events celebrating 12 iconic female music artists were held at NACO Gallery and The Beaver, followed by a Virtual Season day-and-night event in 2 Kensington Market locations.  These events included digital contributions from artists and writers around the world, all archived on the Sheroes site (seriously impressive documentation).
